Inmatech AS’s values guide the entire organization. They represent what we stand for and what we strive for. These values form the foundation of our Code of Conduct.
Anti-Discrimination and Harassment
We do not accept any form of discrimination based on ethnicity, nationality, gender, cultural background, race, age, disability, religion, or sexual orientation.
We do not accept any form of sexual harassment or other inappropriate behavior such as bullying, threats, or abuse of power. Speaking negatively about colleagues or spreading rumors is unacceptable. Sexual harassment means any behavior of a sexual nature that is unwanted by a party. This includes forced or unnecessary physical contact, lewd remarks, comments, or approaches of a sexual nature.
We reject all forms of social dumping and are mindful of this when selecting business partners.
Conflicts of Interest
Employees must avoid situations where private interests are, or may come into conflict with the interests of Inmatech as a company. Employees who find themselves in a conflict of interest situation must immediately notify their manager.
Employees may not:
- Receive inappropriate private benefits from our business partners
- Exploit other employees or company assets for private purposes outside of employee purchase schemes and approved short-term borrowing of tools
- Exploit their position to provide benefits to themselves, family, or friends
- Work for competitors or have connections to competitors that are not in line with Inmatech’s interests.
Close Relationships
We set high standards for fair and impartial treatment and do not wish to place employees and colleagues in difficult situations as a result of relationships becoming too close.
No employee shall use their position to influence employment matters in a way that results in favoritism based on criteria other than those directly relevant to the position in question.
Internal romantic relationships within the company (two employees are cohabitants/married) may pose a security risk as the combination of competence and access may be misused. When the company is aware of romantic relationships, risk must be assessed.
One party in a romantic relationship may not be superior to the other party. If this is the case, one of the parties must change department/section.
A person may be disqualified from facilitating or making decisions in a case where they have a close relationship with a party to the case. If there is doubt about disqualification, the immediate manager or HR should be contacted. See also the section on conflicts of interest.
Anti-Corruption
Inmatech has zero tolerance for corruption and bribery. We prohibit offering, giving, or receiving gifts or benefits where the intention or effect is improper influence on business or decision-making processes. This does not mean there is a prohibition on giving or receiving gifts or courtesies when this is reasonable, proportionate, done in good faith, and is transparent. If in doubt, the immediate manager should be contacted.
Data Security, Confidentiality, and Protection of Assets
Inmatech shall comply with all applicable laws and regulations governing data security for personal information of its employees and business partners. We collect, store, process, and use data solely for legitimate business reasons or if required by law.
Unauthorized transfer of technical knowledge or sensitive business information belonging to Inmatech, or third parties with agreements with Inmatech, to outsiders may have serious consequences for Inmatech and involved employees. All employees must therefore treat such information confidentially and with great care.
Tangible and intangible assets (e.g., products, work equipment, and IT systems) shall only be used for business purposes. All employees are obliged to handle assets with care and ensure that they are not damaged, misused, or lost. Private use of issued computers and mobile phones is permitted, but the equipment must not be used in violation of the guidelines in this document.
Health, Environment, and Safety (HSE)
All employees have the right to work in a safe and healthy work environment. Everyone has a personal responsibility to comply with our HSE rules.
We are committed to the environment and work continuously to ensure that our operations have the least possible impact on the environment.
